It's easy to start! Just show up for practice during any of our scheduled practice times also read Where Can I Play Floorball?. There are no tryouts to join, just bring yourself and we'll sort the rest out from there. As with any sport, we do have a small fee to cover our venue hire. We look forward to seeing you there. |

BASIC IDEAS WHEN PICKING UP A STICKfor the first time. When starting floorball the main things to look at are: You have a top hand and a bottom hand on the grip, if left is your top hand then youre a rightie and if its right on top, then youre a leftie. Most players are lefties in Europe, however in Australia there are mostly right handersan even balance of lefties and righties on a team is advantageous.

Basically, Aside from comfortable, breathable gym wear, ideally, low sitting rubber soled shoes. (please no black soles, as they leave marks on the playing field). A graphite/carbon fibre stick - which can be purchased through the QFA after signing up. Please read Buying my first Floorball stick |

The AUSSIE SPORT Codes of Behaviour have been developed to help everyone involved in junior sport to promote fair play and appropriate behaviour. The brochure outlines the codes of behaviour for players, parents, coaches, teachers, officials, administrators, spectators and the media. |
